Josten is a 34-year-old businessman who lives in Juba Yei. He is married with 3 children between the ages of 6 and 2. Two of them go to school.
Josten runs a special clothing store business, and he has been in the business for 4 years. He has no employees. Josten heard about Finance South Sudan from a loan officer’s promotion done in the market, as well as through a radio advertisement. He is taking a loan of 1,500 SDG to purchase more items like special clothing for women, men and many others. In addition to this business, Josten has motorbike for bodaboda as another source of income.
In 5 years' time, Josten would like to expand the business to a good boutique shop. His major challenges include the low income rate, home expenses and daily differences from buying from whole sellers.
