He has 800 strawberry plants, 150 grape plants of 6 varieties, 20 tons of carrots, 1 ton of beets, 10 tons of onions, and 2 tons celery. Alexander has been farming for 6 years. He has invested 50,000 hryvnia in his business. His average net income is around 6,500 hryvnia.

Alexander is planning to prepare for the spring season in the greenhouse business so he came to Kiva for additional help with financing. He plans to divide a loan of 15,000 hryvnia this way: 5,000 hyrvnia for seed, 2,000 hryvnia for plastic sheeting, 2,500 for fertilizer, 2,500 hryvnia for fabric row cover, and also 3,000 hryvnia for drip tape.
