Zaur is a 51-year-old farmer from the village of Ganakhleba, East Georgia. He lives with his family: wife Nargiza and 25-year-old daughter. The family earns a living through agriculture. They have 7 milk cows and 10 calves. Zaur and Nargiza produce cheese and sell it to local retailers. They also sell calves in the village. The family's average monthly income is 1,200 GEL.
Zaur requested credit for purchasing calves. He will grow them at his farm for five months and sell them in late summer for a higher price. The family will earn additional income, which will be used for purchasing household goods and improving the family's living conditions.
