Aidah lives in Kampala, Uganda. She is single and has two children, both of whom are in school.
Aidah sells secondhand clothes at the market. She also sells charcoal. She sells her products on a retail basis. She has been in this business for the last five years and works seven days a week.
Aidah has requested a loan of 1,200,000 UGX from MCDT SACCO to buy more bales of secondhand clothes. Her major business challenges are seasonality and transportation. Her goals and aspirations are to become a wholesaler and also to buy a plot of land on which to build rental rooms.
Aidah lives in her own house where the family has access to electricity but not piped water. Her monthly expenses include feeding the family, school fees and medication.
