Anzor is 25 years old. He lives in Dmanisi District, West Georgia with his family: his wife, Tsisnami, his 1-year-old son and his parents. The family's agricultural business is their only source of income. They have 20 milk cows and sell milk to local dairy product producers. The family owns 10 hectares of land, where they grow hay. Part of the harvested hay is used to feed domestic cows and the surplus is sold on the local market. All adult family members are involved in the family business and work hard during the day. The family's total average monthly income is 1,500 GEL.
Anzor requested a loan to purchase construction materials to build a grocery store near his house. There is a lack of grocery stores in the area and Anzor’s store will have many clients. He will purchase grocery products in the nearby town at wholesale prices and sell them in his store. The family's income will increase and they will be able to improve their living conditions.
