Maripeth is 50 years old and lives in the Philippines. She is separated and has four children. She earns a living by running a food shop (or carenderia) where she sells dishes such as pancit bihon and chicken pork adobo. Maripeth has been in this business for three years and is requesting a loan for PHP 15,000 to buy raw ingredients to make more dishes to sell. She has been a member of HSPFI since 2010 and hopes to improve her business in the future.
