Evelyn, a 58-year-old widowed mother of four, lives in the Philippines where for the past 20 years she has had a food shop at the school canteen, selling snacks such as rice and pancakes. A member of HSPFI since 2011, Evelyn is requesting a loan for 10,000 PHP to buy more raw ingredients for making the snacks. In the future, she hopes to improve her business.
