Srey March, age 27, is a garment factory worker. She resides with her parents, her husband, and their one child in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have both been working in a garment factory for over six years, earning approximately USD 9 per day.
Due to the difficulty in accessing transportation for the family, Srey March is requesting a loan of USD 1400 in order to purchase a motorbike, which will be used for commuting. This purchase will enable her to use the money saved on her transportation expenses to support her family.
In the future, she would like to run a grocery store at home and to help her child achieve a bachelor’s degree. Moreover, she plans to build a new, separate house for her parents to live in.
