Sophea is 40 years old, married, and has two children. She resides in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been involved in the agricultural business for over 10 years, growing rice and fattening up cattle. They have extensive experience and are successful in their careers. They earn approximately $7 per day.
In order improve her family’s economy, Sophea is requesting a loan for $1,250, which she will use to purchase more farmland for growing crops in order to generate more income to support her family. In the future, she would like to expand her business, build a concrete house, and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees.
