Mathembe is a married business man and a father of four children; three of whom are in school. He lives in the town of Kongowea, Kenya. He runs a printing and stationery shop that has been in operation for ten years. The business employs three people. He often prints exam papers for schools and other institutions.
Mathembe is also a farmer. He joined Milango to access credit.
Mathembe is applying for a loan of 50,000 Kenya shillings to purchase printing papers and examinations. The only challenge he faces is lack of adequate capital for operations due to high demand for printing work.
He believes that the additional income from this business will help improve the standards of living of his family. His aspiration is to have a well stocked/equipped shop able to meet the demands of his customers.
