Veronica is 38 years old, married, and has two children. She sells scrap metals to earn a living and she has been in the business for 11 years. She describes her customers as low income earners because most of them live in slums. Since she joined Faulu Kenya, she has been able to improve her living standards and hopes to expand her business in the future. She has applied for 20,000 Kenyan Shillings to buy scrap metals for resale.
