Jessica, 30, lives in a suburb of Guayaquil. She started her business because her husband's salary was not enough to sustain their family. She started selling lunch from her house and through her efforts, she has developed her business. She works every day and looks forward to it. In the future she hopes to make improvements to her house, for her children's sake. She will use this loan to buy housing materials -- cement, sand, and concrete blocks -- to better construct her home and to improve her restaurant.
