Geoffrey
Geoffrey is a resident and a farmer in Kitale, where he carries out farming and lives with his family of three children, ages 9 and 3 years with the last born only three months ago. Geoffrey is 32 and has been in farming for over 10 years. He runs a retail shop in the local market for additional income. His farm currently produces maize, tomatoes and vegetables.

Geoffrey has requested a loan of 90,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to help him venture into poultry farming. He says he will buy poultry birds for 30,000 KES and construct a poultry housing unit for 60,000 KES. He says the income from farming will help him improve his family living standards.

He plans to buy a van for a transport business in the future. He laments of poor roads which makes transportation costly to farmers.
