Teresa
Teresa is 45 years old and lives in the southwest of the city with her husband. They have three daughters from 11 to 19 years old. There she has a store that she started three years ago in the house of her mother. She started with $300,000 Colombian pesos and ten cases of beer. In order to take care of her family members when they visited her, she gradually expanded because of the success she had in the sector and even achieved having her own house.

Today she dreams of improving the physical conditions of her business and her house to achieve a family atmosphere and comfortable business. She is currently asking for a Kiva loan, her first loan through the Fundacion Mario Santo Domingo, with which she will purchase 100 cases of beer, 36 bags of rice, and oil in greater volume. For Teresa her investment will be successful because it is based on her experience and on the possibility of selling drinks to other businesses and including products from the family shopping basket.
