Jecinta is a 62-year-old widowed lady from Kakamega town in the west of Kenya. She has six grownup children.
Jecinta operates a general stores where she deals in a variety of household items like saucepans, basins, buckets and other items, a business she has been doing for the last three years making a monthly income of 35,000 KES.
She is taking her second loan from KADET Ltd which she will use to buy retail stock like saucepans, basins, jugs and thermoses to sell. She will use anticipated profits to add more retail stock. Her dream is to own a big business premise.
