Yem is 60 years old, married, and has two children. She is from Kompong Speu province of Cambodia. She is a responsible mother who always takes care of her family's livelihood and provides a good education to her children. Yem has been working in the rice business sector, from which she earns a suitable income for covering her family expenses.
To upgrade their better quality of life, Yem is requesting her first loan from HKL, which she will use to purchase a motorbike. She says that with the support of her business, it will makes her family live in comfortable way.

The organization provides microfinance services to the poor, particularly women, in urban and rural areas. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the outreach of HKL’s financial services to a greater number of clients in rural areas of Cambodia.
