The “Margaritas de Mercedario” communal bank will start its first cycle in Pro Mujer as part of the Collpani Focal Center. It has 8 members and a governing board headed by Roxana. The communal bank members carry out a variety of businesses. Among them we have: jacket making, stationery shop, blanket weaving, underwear sales, neighborhood store, curtain making, carpentry and merchant.

Roxana indicates that she’s been a member of a communal bank for the last six months and that she currently has a carpentry business that she’s had for years having learned from her husband. The loan this cycle is to expand merchandise (purchase plywood) that she’ll acquire with the goal of manufacturing furniture. She will buy this product at the storage sheds and then sell it in her sales point. This way of working allows her to support her family since she’s married and has four children. When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she answer that she likes the health area.

La A.C. “MARGARITAS DE MERCEDARIO” iniciará el primer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Collpani. Está compuesta por ocho integrantes y cuentan con una mesa directiva a la cabeza de la misma se encuentra la señora Roxana. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos tenemos: confección de chamarras, librería, tejido de mantas de hilo, comerciante de ropa interior, tienda de barrio, elaboración de cortinas, carpintería y comerciante.

La señora Roxana, indica que forma parte de una asociación comunal desde hace seis meses atrás y que en la actualidad ella cuenta con un negocio de carpintería, que viene trabajando hace años aprendiendo de su esposo. El crédito de este ciclo es para ampliación de su mercadería (compra de venesta) que adquirirá con la finalidad de elaborar los muebles, este producto lo comprará de las barracas y posteriormente lo comercializará en su puesto de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite apoyar a su familia pues ella es casada y tiene cuatro hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud.
