La Señora Mariana es socia del banco comunal El Cisne, vive por la parroquia del Valle llamada también “San Bautista de El Valle” que está situada al sureste de Cuenca. Esta parroquia es famosa por su producción agrícola, también su gente se dedica a la cría de animales, al comercio y muchos laboran en la ciudad de Cuenca. El Valle tiene atractivos como la laguna de Cochapamba (llenas de totoras) y varios lugares más para visitar.

La Señora Mariana tiene 55 años, es casada y en su unión conyugal ha concebido 7 hijos, 4 son casados y viven independiente, sus hijos solteros son de 22, 18 y 16 años de edad, su hija de 22 años pasa en casa y ayuda en los quehaceres del hogar y sus dos hijos siguientes trabajan para solventar sus gastos personales. Su esposo es de profesión albañil, la casa en la que viven es de su propiedad.

Doña Mariana pasa en casa realizando los quehaceres del hogar y cuida de su familia, también se dedica a criar cuyes, cerdos y pollos a los que los vende en su comunidad.

En el banco comunal se encuentra hace 2 años y su crédito lo va a invertir en la compra de pollos, cuyes y cerdos para crecer en esta actividad.
