Akossiwa
Mrs Akossiwa N. was born in 1959 in Tsévié. Married and mother of five (5) children, she has owned a shoe selling business for the last 5 years. On top of this business, she also does some subsistance farming. The farming is becoming more and more difficult, so she has decided to devote her time entirely to the shoe selling business, which is much more profitable. She wants to diversify her range of products by adding handbags and belts. Despite the fact she doesn’t have a lot of education, she has mastered the concepts of management. She has already paid back her first loan without any incident. Today, to strenghten her business, she is asking for another loan, of $650. She will use the money as business capital to buy and sell shoes, handbags and belts. This will allow her to satisfy the demands of her clients and increase her income, allowing her to improve the standard of living of her family.
