Karen Cecilia
Karen, 24, lives at home with her parents in the city of Imperial, a place known for agriculture and friendly people. Karen is a very enthusiastic young woman, thanks to her own hard work and the support of her parents who encourage and advise her. A year ago she started her business selling daily specials and roasted chicken. She thinks that her business is going well because her meals taste good and so her clients keep coming back.

Karen is very grateful to the Kiva lenders because thanks to their help she will be able to buy things to set up her restaurant like mirrors, decorations and seats, so that she can have a more inviting and comfortable environment for her customers. Having a better set-up will allow her to have more customers and keep working to meet her biggest dream: finishing her degree.
