The group Afia de Diatamine Saféré was founded in December 2008 with the inauguration of the banc villageois. There are 27 women in the group who are very engaged in their work, and there is a lively solidarity in the group.

All the women live in the same village, and they all work in small business. Madame Kadiatou (seated in the middle with her hand raised) is in charge of the group. She is married and is the mother of 6 children. She's very active in the transformation of local products - currently she's turning peanuts into peanut butter. She's 61, and has a solid experience in this activity as she's been doing it for many years.

This loan will allow her to buy peanuts in large quantities. She'll turn the peanuts into peanut butter that she'll sell in the weekly markets in surrounding villages. The income from her work will allow her to better help her husband with the family expenses

Le groupe Afia de Diatamine Saféré est créé en décembre 2008 à l'inauguration du BV. Il compte 27 femmes très engagées dans leur travail, il existe une vive solidarité dans le groupe. Les femmes habitent le même village et mènent toutes des activités dans le petit commerce.

Madame Kadiatou (assise au milieux du groupe avec la main levée) est responsable du groupe. Elle est mariée et mère de six enfants. C’est une femme très active dans la transformation des produits locaux en l’occurrence les graines d'arachide en pâte. Avec ses 61 ans elle jouit d’une bonne expérience de cette activité pour l’avoir pratiqué pendant plusieurs années.

Ce prêt lui permettra d’acheter des graines d'arachide en quantité en vue de la transformation en pâte pour la revente dans les marchés hebdomadaires des villages environnants.

Les retombées de ses activités lui permettront de mieux assister son époux dans les charges familiales.
