Sok is 34 years old. She is a local farmer who has been residing in the Prey Chor district of Kompong Cham province. She has been involved in rice farming since 1999.
Sok has a life partner in her husband and they have been blessed with four single children. Some of their children are employed in the garment factory and often contribute a part of their income to their parents in order to use for financial expenses.
Sok would like to request a loan to purchase a piece of farmland for planting rice crop so she can increase her output in the future.

The organization provides microfinance services to the poor, particularly women, in urban and rural areas. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the outreach of HKL’s financial services to a greater number of clients in rural areas of Cambodia.
