The solidarity group Sope Serigan Mbacké Sokhna Lo has been in existence since the first cycle of the banc villageois. It is currently comprised of seven members who live in the same village and who engage in small trade as their primary activity.

Madame Astou (standing at the left in the photo) is responsible for the solidarity group. She is 63 years old, married, and the mother of 9 children. For several years she has been developing a small business trading grains. With her new loan, she will procure merchandise (peanuts and millet) which she will resell at the small market in her village.

With these profits she will be able to pay for her children's school supplies as well as for clothing for religious festivals.

Le groupe de solidarité Sope Serign Mbacké Sokhna Lo a été crée depuis le premier cycle du BV. Il regroupe actuellement 7 membres habitant le même village et s'activant dans le petit commerce comme activité principale

Elle développe une activité de petit commerce de céréales depuis plusieurs années

Avec son nouveau crédit elle va se procurer de la marchandise (arachide et mil) qu 'elle va revendre au niveau du petit marché de son village.

Avec ses bénéfices elle parvient à payer les fournitures scolaires pour ses enfants mais également des habits lors des fêtes religieuses.
