Alice, age 43, sells second-hand clothing and shoes to earn her living. She and her husband Paul live in Migori town. They have six children aged between five and 18 years old.
Alice has operated her business for the last eight years, making a monthly income of KES. 10,000. She is taking her sixth loan from KADET Ltd., which she will use to buy additional stock of second-hand clothing and shoes to offer for sale.
