Oksana is from the village of Kumurdo. She lives with her mother-in-law and sister-in-law in the village. All of her family members are involved in the family's agricultural business, which is the only source of income for the family. They have a dairy farm with four milk cows. Oksana produces cheese and sells it in the local market. The family also owns 2.5 hectares of land, where they grow potatoes, wheat, and barley. They sell their harvested products locally to greengrocery wholesalers in the village. The total average monthly income of the family is 800 Laris.
Oksana requested credit for purchasing quality potato seeds. She will sow good quality potatoes, which can be sold for higher prices to create more income for the family. Oksana plans to reinvest part of the received income in the same business, to sow more potatoes. Part of the income will also be used for financing the family's daily needs.
