Rosa Victoria
View original language description ↓
Rosa joined the communal bank "Santa Isabel de Acosvinchos" one year ago. She lives in the Acosvinchos district, which is located two hours from the city of Ayacucho.

Rosa is married, 47 years old, and has four children. At first, Rosa had a restaurant and a bar, an activity that she abandoned because her husband drank a lot. Later, when he had converted to an evangelical religion, she started up her businesses again, but this time just a restaurant, with very little cash. Currently, her business has grown, and she provides food for employees of various institutions in the district. Her restaurant is located on the main plaza of the district in her sister-in-law's house.

Rosa needs a loan for $1050 which she will invest in buying rice, potatoes, oil, sugar, grains, noodles, and gas.

She will use her savings for her childrens' higher educations and for some future need. She dreams of opening another restaurant in her house, improving her home, and her children becoming professionals.
