Chanthy, 43, is married and resides with her mother, her husband and one child in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been growing rice for over 10 years, earning approximately USD 5 per day. Her husband is a barber who earns about USD 5 per day. In order develop her family’s economy, Chanthy is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase cattle to resell for a profitable price. This loan would enable her to generate more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to send her child to a good school.
