Rosas Blancas Group

The 'Rosas Blancas' community bank are about to start their first loan cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Villa Adela regional office. The group has six members and is run by a board of directors which is led by Máxima. The businesses that the members of the community bank are engaged in are varied and include: running a neighborhood store, selling lunches, selling salchipapa (traditional fast food), working as a cook, working as a builder's assistant and working as an assistant cook.

Máxima says that this is her first loan cycle with Pro Mujer and that she joined the institution through an invitation from a loan officer. She has a neighborhood store and food sales business which she has been working in for some time.

Máxima is taking out this loan to increase her capital. She will buy groceries from wholesalers and then sell them from her sales location. This work enables her to make income with which to support her family. She is married and has one child.

When we asked her what she likes about Pro Mujer, Máxima replied that she likes the health services, the savings and the training.

La A.C. “ROSAS BLANCAS” iniciará su primer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del centro focal Villa Adela, está compuesta por seis integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva encabezada por la señora Máxima. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos tenemos: tienda de barrio, venta de almuerzo, venta de salchipapa, cocinera, ayudante de albañil, ayudante de cocina.

La señora Máxima, indica que es el primer ciclo que trabaja en Pro Mujer y que integro la institución por invitación de un asesor. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de tienda de barrio y venta de comida que viene trabajando hace algún tiempo.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para aumentar su capital (compra de abarrotes) que adquirirá de las mayoristas, por mayor, y posteriormente lo comercializará en su puesto de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar a su familia, pues ella es casada y tiene un hijo.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud, ahorros y capacitación.
