Vireak, 37, is married and resides with his wife and three children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. He has been working as a doctor for over ten years, earning approximately US$5 per day. His wife is a homemaker. Due to their lack of income, Vireak would like to run an additional business for his wife to generate more income to support the family. With this goal in mind, Vireak is requesting a loan of US$1,000 to purchase piglets for his wife to breed. In the future, he would like to run a pharmacy and rebuild his present house to make it bigger and stronger, and to provide better living conditions for the family. Moreover, he hopes to support his children to study in higher education.
