Mrs. Máxima had to assume radical changes for the well-being of her family. Twenty years ago in her native land of San Martín de Pangoa, due to the political violence of terrorism that beat upon her beautiful city, she fled leaving her cultivation lands and her humble abode in order to save the life of her husband and their ten children, all of whom were still little, and they chose the city of Huancayo and with the help of many generous people they recouperated. With time they purchased in this city a house and some plots for cultivation in which Mrs. Máxima used it to sow potatoes and corn and breed animals, especially piglets. At present she lives alone with with five of her children who are still minors; the others are already grown into good men who have formed their own households. It has been many years since her husband abondoned her. Two years ago she returned to her native land to recoup that which she once had to leave behind and now she has taken back to her cultivation lands coffee and cocoa. Her loan request attends to the need to convey her produce from the countryside to the city in order to sell them.
