Savy, 50, is married and resides with her husband and two children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. She has been selling groceries for over two years, earning approximately USD 3 per day. Her husband is a security guard and earns about USD 3 per day. Due to small income, Savy would like to run an additional business to generate extra income for the family. With this goal in mind, Savy is requesting a loan of USD 600 to purchase a motorbike for her husband to run a public transportation service. In the future, she would like to expand her grocery store and rebuild her present house to make it bigger and stronger to provide better living conditions for her family.
