El Arbol De Neen Group
In this Group: Ana Maria , Perla Fabiola , Francisco Bruno
This group is called El Árbol de Neen (the Tree of Neen). Its members decided to call it that because in their community, there are a lot of Neen trees, which serve to control diabetes and blood pressure. This group is made up of three hardworking and nice people with desires to improve and complete their lives. The representative of this group is Mr. Francisco Bruno, an intelligent and hard-working man of 42 years who is happily married to Mrs. Maura Berta, a very nice and hard-working woman with the strength necessary to help her husband with what he needs. They have three children, Berta Sofía, Eva Maria and Carla Idolina. They are their pride and motivation to fight to continue helping them so the children can achieve their dreams and the parents can give the kids a good education. Better known as Don Chico, Mr. Bruno has been dedicated to the production of limes and bananas since he was five years old. He tells us that what he most enjoys in his business is going out to fertilize his plants and watching them grow. He asked for the loan in order to buy fertilizer for his plants in order to keep the limes large and juicy and the bananas big and sweet. He tells us that he is grateful to the Kiva field partner for the help that it has given him to support business growth and so that he can work his land well.

The other members of the group are:
Ana Maria- who is dedicated to the sale of clothes.
Perla Fabiola- who is dedicated to the sale of fruits and vegetables.

They give thanks to the Kiva partner foundation for helping them and changing their lives based on effort and work.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
