Elizbar is a twenty-seven-year-old farmer from the village of Vardisubani. He lives with his family: his wife – Nona, their two sons who are eight and three years old and his father. Nona is a housewife; Elizbar’s father works as electrician in a local company. Elizbar is leading the agricultural business of the family, which is the main source of the income for the family. He takes care of a milk cow and a calf. He produces cheese and sells it locally to retailers of dairy products. He also has six sheep and sells lambs. Along with domestic animals the family owns 0.3 hectares of land, where vine-trees are grown. Elizbar produces wine and sells it on the local market. The total average monthly income of the family is 800 Laris.
Elizbar requested credit to purchase calves. He will raise calves during spring and summer and sell grown calves in fall for a higher price. The family will get additional income. Elizbar plans to use the increased income to create better living conditions for his children first of all, as well as for other family members.
