Sory, 33, is married, resides with her husband and four children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia. She has been working in a garment factory for over five years, earning approximately USD 3 per day. Her husband is a motor taxi driver. Additionally, he grows rice to generate more income to support the family. Approximately, he earns USD 5 a day.
Since the present motor is too old, Sory is requesting for a loan of USD 900 to purchase a new motorbike for her husband to run his transportation service. This purchase would enable her husband to attract more customers and generate more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to rebuild her present house to make it much stronger and help her children get bachelor’s degree.
