Helda is a 32-year-old businessman, who lives in Juba. He is married and has four children between the ages of 12 and 1. Three of his children go to school.
Helda runs a mixed store business and he has been in the business for four years. He has no employee. Helda heard about Finance Sudan from the loan officer’s word of mouth promotion done in the market and read about it on a signpost. He is taking a loan of 1500 SDG to purchase more items like sweets, Tox (for insects), some pens and many others. Helda has no other source of income.
In five years, Helda would like to have a big business in his own good building.
His major challenges include the high cost of living in Juba and food.
Helda says that he is giving thanks for Finance Sudan and for its support, which leads to the economically active but poor being able to uplift themselves from poverty.
