Roucharatou Victorine is 48 years old and lives in Benin. She no longer lives with her husband but has a child who attends school and is her dependent. She, alone, takes care of the various expenses for her child. She stopped attending school at the secondary level. To provide for her needs and those of her child, Roucharatou Victorine has been providing food preparation for the last 15 years. She gets her supplies at a market in Benin.
In order to strengthen their activity and to better meet their customers’ demand, Roucharatou Victorine and the other members of the group Gnambossou Gbeta 3 are requesting a loan from ALIDé. Their ambition is to increase the level of their activity.

Pour subvenir à ses besoins et à ceux de son enfant, Roucharatou Victorine fait de la restauration depuis une quinzaine d’année. Roucharatou Victorine s’approvisionne dans un marché du Bénin. Dans le but de renforcer leur activité et de mieux satisfaire leur clientèle, Roucharatou Victorine et les autres membres du groupe GNAMBOSSOU GBETA 3 sollicitent un crédit auprès de ALIDé. Leur ambition est d’accroître le niveau de leur activité.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
