Barrio Felsina was formed by the union of several neighbors and friends in the city of Villa Elisa. They are very enterprising woman who joined the women’s program of Fundación Paraguaya in order to work together and thereby help their families through their work. Their goal is to become good small business women and in this way move forward.

Herminia is a baker and tells us that she started with a small business but that, thanks to her sales and quality products, in addition to her effort and hard work, she has been able to move ahead and continue growing. She says that her goods are highly appreciated by her customers so that she would like to be able to continue working. She is requesting the loan to buy flour, butter, salt, sugar and other ingredients needed to be able to continue with her bakery.

The members are very pleased with the opportunity that they are receiving from Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva.

Barrio Felsina se formo con la unión de varias vecinas y amigas de la ciudad de Villa Elisa, ellas son mujeres muy emprendedoras, que se unieron al programa de mujeres de la fundación paraguaya, para trabajar juntas y asi de paso poder ayudar a sus familias por medio de su trabajo. Su meta es poder convertirse en buenas microempresarias y de esa forma salir adelante.
Herminia es panadera, y nos comenta que habia empezado con un pequeño negocio, pero que gracias a las ventas que tiene y a los buenos productos, sumado a su esfuerzo y arduo trabajo ha podido salir adelante y de esa forma ir creciendo. Comenta que sus productos son muy apreciados por sus clientes, por lo que le gustaría poder seguir trabajando.
Ella solicita el crédito para la compra de harinas, manteca, sal, azúcar y demás insumos necesarios para poder seguir con su panadería. Estan muy contentas por la oportunidad que reciben de fundación paraguaya y kiva.
