The women of the present committee are from the city of Caacupé. They are 14 women who organized as a group with a desire to work together and help each other to progress. They have a great entrepreneurial spirit, and want to keep helping their families by means of their work. Currently, they are in the 5th cycle of the program for entrepreneurial women, and they want to reach the highest level of the program.

Maria is one of the members, and she dedicates herself to hairdressing. She states that she has a business with all the necessary amenities to carry out her work comfortably. Thanks to the excellent service she provides to her customers, she has established a loyal client base that frequents her business often.

Her dream is to continue growing her enterprise, and to provide job opportunities for other people. She requests help from Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva to supply her beauty salon with shampoos, conditioners, creams, nail polishes and other necessary products to be able to keep working.

Las mujeres del presente comité son de la ciudad de Caacupé. Son 14 mujeres que se unieron con ganas de trabajar juntas y ayudarse las unas a las otras para poder progresar. Tienen un gran espíritu emprendedor y quieren poder seguir ayudando a sus familias por medio de su trabajo. Actualmente se encuentran en el 5to. Ciclo del programa de mujeres emprendedoras y desean poder llegar al máximo nivel del programa.
Maria, es una de las miembros, ella se dedica a la peluquería, cuenta que tiene un negocio con todo lo que necesita para poder trabajar cómodamente. Gracias al buen servicio que brinda a sus clientes, ha podido formarse ya una clientela fiel que siempre acude hasta su negocio. Su sueño es poder seguir creciendo y poder dar puestos de trabajo a otras personas.
Ella solicita la ayuda de fundación paraguaya y de kiva para poder abastecer su peluquería con shampoo, enjuagues, cremas, esmaltes y demás insumos necesarios para poder seguir trabajando.

The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
