Mamuka is 46 years old. He is from a small village near Tbilisi, the capital city of the country. He lives with his family: wife – Iza, 16-year-old daughter and 14-year-old son. The children go to school.
The only source of income for the family is agriculture. They have a small dairy farm with 2 milk cows. Iza produces yogurt and sells it locally. Also, the family owns a greenhouse where cucumbers, potatoes and greens are grown. Mamuka sells the harvested vegetables in Tbilisi. The total average monthly income for the family is 700 Laris.
Mamuka requested credit for renovation of the greenhouse. He will change the broken glasses as well as purchase gas for heating the greenhouse, otherwise it won’t keep the needed temperature and the family will lose the most important source of their income. After the renovation, the family can count on a good harvest, which will be sold for convenient prices and bring more income. Mamuka plans to use it to finance his family's daily needs.
