Laura is a forty-five-year-old married mother of three. She describes herself as a cheerful and energetic person who doesn't mind hard work. She learned to embroider by hand when she was only five-years-old. After many years of practice, she has now honed her skill and is able to produce many beautiful tablecloths and runners. Demand for her work is steady, and she hopes that with this loan, she will be able to improve on the quality of cloth she uses to produce her pieces, and perhaps earn a little more money. She dreams of one day owning her own embroidery shop where she can produce a greater number of pieces in a shorter amount of time.
