Sadia is a 48-year-old businessman who lives in Juba. He is married with seven children between the ages of 20 and 2. Four of them go to school. Sadia runs a retail store, and he has been in the business for nine years. He has one employee.
Sadia heard about Finance South Sudan through the outreach and promotion done in the market by the officers. He is taking a loan of 2,000 Sudanese pounds to purchase more food items, like salt, Nomi, sugar, sweets, cooking oil, and many others. In addition to this business, Sadia has his houses for rent as another source of income.
In five years' time, Sadia hopes to build other houses for rent. His major challenge is the issue of building materials being expensive in Juba. Sadia says that he is happy for Finance South Sudan’s program, which will enable him to build houses and grow his business.
