Sou is from Baray district of Kompong Tom province. She is fifty-nine years old and is married with five children, two of whom are single and assist her in crop farming business. She usually grows a few types of crops like rice, corn and beans. In addition to this, she operates a business selling fresh fish and also takes some time at home to raise some pigs. She is very hard-working in her daily activities.
For her fourth cycle loan from HKL, she would like to purchase soy bean seeds and ten sacks of fertilizers for rice and bean crops. She hopes to improve her business someday with the constant support from our lenders.

The organization provides microfinance services to the poor, particularly women, in urban and rural areas. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the outreach of HKL’s financial services to a greater number of clients in rural areas of Cambodia.
