Hoa is thirty-nine years old with two children who are in high-school. She is managing a small wood workshop that makes furniture. Her business started six years ago and creates a good income for the family.
Participating in our credit program since 2005, she used loans to buy machines and some tools that serve for the furniture-making process. Currently, she wants to have a loan of 9,810,000 VND to buy wood.
The Center of Small Enterprise Development Assistance (SEDA) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to create “a society without poverty.” Founded in 2004, SEDA provides microfinance services to low-income and disadvantaged people in rural areas of Hanoi and the northern provinces of Vietnam through its Binh Minh Micro-Finance Program.
