La actividad que realiza Lucy es la venta de diversas mercaderías como ropas de damas, caballeros y niños, también accesorios de plata como pulseras, collares y anillos. Todos estos productos los compran en Lima a través de su tía, y los vende desde su casa a sus amistades, familiares y vecinas, además de personas recomendadas. Tiene más de 6 años dedicándose a éste negocio y hasta el momento lo realiza ella sola. Le gusta su negocio por los ingresos económicos, el poder disponer de sus horarios de trabajo, y sentirse independiente, deseando convertirse en una prospera empresaria.
