Maria Rosa is 40 years old, married and lives with her family in Quito, Ecuador. Always the hard worker, Maria Rosa began raising hamsters, something her mother taught her, about a year ago in order to help her family make ends meet. After doing this for a while, she decided to try for a loan for the first time in order to buy some pigs, something she hopes will increase her income significantly. Her dream is to eventually own enough pigs to have a full-fledged pig farm, something that can help secure a good life for her and her family.
