Sokhon
Sokhon (in the photo) is 60 years old and sells grocery items. Her husband stays at home. She lives in a village about thirty-five kilometers from Phnom Penh City. She has three sons and two daughters. Three are married and live outside the family home, and the others are garment workers.

Sokhon is asking for a loan of $1,000 to repair her house and build an addition onto it. She will also use a part of the loan to buy additional grocery items for resale.
