“Luchadoras” (Battlers) is a group formed by 13 women from the city of Mariano Roque Alonso. They are very hard-working and struggling people who always put forth maximum effort to be able to help their families. The members want to be able to grow, not only economically, but also personally, in order to become better people and better human beings.
Maria del Carmen is one of the members. She is a seamstress, by which activity she has helped her family and in this manner, covered their expenses which grow from day to day. One of her goals is to be able to expand her shop and, in this way, she can help more people in her barrio.
Maria is requesting a loan to buy cloth, thread, fasteners, buttons, and other supplies necessary to meet demand and fill the orders of her customers.
Luchadoras es el grupo formado por 13 mujeres de la ciudad de Mariano Roque Alonso, ellas son personas muy trabajadoras y luchadoras, que siempre se esfuerzan al máximo para poder ayudar a sus familias. Desean poder crecer, no solo en lo económico, sino también en lo personal, para ser mejores personas y seres humanos.
Maria del Carmen es una de las miembros, ella se dedica a la costura, con lo que ha podido ayudar a su familia y de esa forma cubrir los gastos que día a día surgen. Una de sus metas es poder agrandar su taller y de esa forma podre ayudar a más personas en su barrio.
Ella solicita el crédito para la compra de telas, hilos, cierres, botones y demás insumos con los cuales podrá cumplir con la demanda y pedidos de sus clientes. Ellas están muy contentas con el apoyo de la fundación y de kiva.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
