El Triunfo Del Amor Group
In this Group: Maria Luisa, Candida Juliana , Cristina , Remedios, Maria Magdalena
The "El Triunfo del Amor" group is made up of five hard-working women who want to make their businesses grow, and have a better quality of life.

One of the members of the group is Cristina, a hard-working and modest lady who sells jewelry, handicrafts, and clay cooking utensils. She tells us that she goes to sell in the hills around the town, as she has a lot of customers who place orders with her, and recommend her because she always fills the orders on time and provides home delivery.

She is happily married to Efraín Efrén, a hard-working and modest man. They have two children for whose sake both of them work, as they wish to give them a good education. She asked for the loan to buy more jewelry and handicrafts to sell at wholesale and retail. The others members of the group are María Luisa who sells shoes, Candida Juliana who sells perfumes, Remedios who sells shoes, and María Magdalena who sells costume jewelry.

They are thankful to the Foundation for they support they have been offered, as they wish to improve their businesses, and give a better future to their families.

Additional Information

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
