Paul is a farmer in Litein in the southern end of the Rift Valley Province of Kenya. He lives with his five children, who are between the ages of three and fourteen. Four of his children are in school.

On his farm Paul grows tea and produces milk for the local market. He has requested a loan of 30,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to buy another dairy cow. He says expansion of his dairy will help him guarantee food for his family. He adds that with the growth of his business he will build a modern dairy before buying additional cows.

While Paul notes that access to financial support has been his main challenge, he says Juhudi Kilimo and its loans have come at the right time.
