Thavy is 29 years old, married, and has two children. She resides in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been involved in growing rice for over 10 years and are successful in their career. Additionally, her husband runs a motor taxi to generate additional income to support the family.
In order to improve her husband’s business, Tavy is requesting a loan for $400 to purchase a new motorbike for her husband to run his transportation service. By doing so, her husband would generate more profits because a new motorbike would attract more customers.
In the future, Thavy would like to run a grocery store at home and support her children to study until they earn a bachelor's degree. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her present house to make it bigger and stronger to provide better living conditions for her family.
